BBB’s Fellowship of Faith visit the Buddhist Meditation Centre

Originally set up in a shop at the bottom of Standish St., the Centre is now just round the corner on Parker St.
A full time monk is assisted by a volunteer Jim Allison who has been a Buddhist for 37 years. He helps with teaching Buddhism and leads mediation sessions. Jim is a Burnley man who explains the origin of Buddhism, and it’s history. He also shows people round and explains artefacts and wall hangings and is highly recommended by BBb Fellowship of faith
Due to other events, especially in the Angllcan Church, and the Muslim Community there were only seven attendees but this meant everyone could see and hear everything and ask questions. At least one other visit will be arranged in the future to allow those who were unable to attend can do so. Contact C Wills colin@wills77.plus.com if you or a group want register interestplease send your contact details.
Schools, none of whom have yet visited, would be welcome.
